Editorial correction
For errors, missing sources, translations, dates or disputed descriptions, identify the page, passage, reason and documentary source. Material amendments are recorded.
Complaint about the Observatory
This concerns conduct, conflicts of interest, data use, accessibility or failure to follow published rules. Complaints should be handled confidentially and, where possible, reviewed by someone not involved.
Report of a possible violation
The Observatory may assess editorial relevance but does not determine responsibility, replace Italian or international authorities, or provide immediate protection. Contact competent emergency services or authorities when someone is at risk.
Outcome
Where contact details are available, the sender receives confirmation of classification and the outcome or a request for further information. Timing depends on complexity, safety and verification needs.
