METHODOLOGY AND TRANSPARENCY
Verifiable sources, context and updates
The Observatory makes complex information understandable while distinguishing original documents from interpretation and recording the date, provenance and scope of each item.
Source hierarchy
- Legislation, judgments, official records and institutional data.
- Reports by international organisations, universities and research centres.
- Peer-reviewed research, specialist publications and archives.
- Personal accounts and community contributions presented with appropriate context.
Editorial criteria
Each dossier should identify its subject, territory, period and sources. Corrections and new evidence are assessed before publication. Monitoring concerns institutions, policies and rights, not the profiling of individuals.
Submitting material
Organisational membership remains focused on Italy. People living abroad may submit testimony, documents or research cooperation when these directly concern minorities in Italy. All submissions are assessed for relevance, verifiability, safety and public value.
The submission form and detailed safeguarding protocol are currently available in Italian.
